Aine McSweeney - Director, Australasia
Born: Ireland. Lived in Australia since 1988.
Career: I began my career in retail and progressed into technical sales.
Since my arrival in Australia I have been providing training and project management services to various organisations involved in retail, software development and sport among others. I have been associated with Shopper Anonymous since 1997 and believe that its service offering is invaluable to growing a business and maintaining competitive advantage.
Most Memorable Moment: Swimming with Whale Sharks at Ningaloo !!
Debbie Smith - National Operations Manager
Born: Helensburgh, Scotland. Lived in the UK until moving to Australia in 1994.
Career: I began my career working for the Sunday Independent Newspaper in the UK as Editorial Assistant. I remained with the company for 7 years, completing a training apprenticeship. I then went on a working holiday to Australia, fell in love with Perth and decided to stay!! Prior to migrating I worked for the City Council Homeless Unit as a Customer Service Officer.
Most Memorable Moment: Entering a beauty competition at Butlin's Holiday Camp in UK and coming last!!
Emma Brooks - Business Development Manager
Born: England. Have lived in Australia since 1991
Career: I began my career as the Personal Secretary to the Director of a financial adviser company. At 18 I moved to Sydney and began a career in hospitality, which saw me start from a telephonist moving up the ranks over the nine years to become a Front Office Manager. I moved to Perth in 2001 and have been associated with Shopper Anonymous since May 2007. I strongly believe that customer service should be a business priority
Most memorable moment: Going to London as a child, to see the firework celebration for Prince Charles and Lady Diana’s engagement.
Jonathan Winchester - Managing Director, UK
Born: Bexhill On Sea, East Sussex, England. Lived in Australia 1995-2005 and returned to the UK in 2005
Career: I began my career at Harrods on their Retail Management Training for two years. I then was appointed the Regional Training Manager for Gateway Foodmarkets throughout Sussex and Hampshire in England. In 1990 I joined NPI as a Training and Development Consultant.
Established Shopper Anonymous Australia in 1998 and expanded to New Zealand in 2003. In developing new opportunities Shopper Anonymous spread its wings to the UK in 2005 where I am as managing director.
Most Memorable Moment: Selling five thousand pounds worth of bed Linen to Diana Ross in the Harrods Bed Linen department and only realising who she was when she handed me her account card! Then trying to make small talk with Diana Ross after the sale was complete and asking her if she was catching the tube home!
